Great jeep to drive we have lot of fun exploring Big Island especially the National Volcano park and Mauna Summit for sunset. He has multiple vehicles so you can choose whichever you like on Turo. Good experience with Turo first time user. I will definitely Rent with him again.

Overall, the Jeep Wrangler itself was great. It drove well, was fun to have on the island, and handled everything we needed without any issues. Unfortunately, the pickup process and a few maintenance issues made the overall experience more frustrating than expected.
The pickup location is quite far from the airport and is in an obscure, unshaded lot next to a road. It doesn’t appear correctly on either Google Maps or Apple Maps, so you have to use the link provided by the host. This also makes arranging an Uber, Lyft, or taxi more difficult than it should be.
Once you arrive, you’re required to complete a detailed photo inspection before you’re allowed to access the vehicle. Standing on the side of the road in the Hawaii heat with luggage and young kids while taking numerous photos is not an ideal way to start a vacation. You don’t receive the key until all required photos are submitted and accepted. Which is inappropriate and haven’t seen on any pervious rentals.
Even after gaining access to the Jeep, the process wasn’t over. The host required additional interior photos, and if any of the photos weren’t considered sufficient, I received more phone calls asking me to retake and resubmit them. This back-and-forth continued for several hours on the first day of our trip, delaying our ability to simply start enjoying our vacation.
The vehicle itself also had an avoidable maintenance issue—the windshield washer fluid was completely empty. This made it difficult to clean the windshield and reduced visibility while driving when the windshield became dirty.
The Wrangler itself was enjoyable to drive and performed well throughout our trip. However, between the inconvenient pickup location, the lengthy and repetitive photo verification process, and the maintenance oversight, I would likely choose a different provider the next time I visit Hawaii-Not recommended for kids/familes.

For clarity, our pickup location is exactly 3.7 miles from the airport, not far as described, and directions are provided before every trip. The photo process did not take several hours. We only requested a few additional photos because the originals were unclear. This protects both guests and the vehicle. The washer fluid issue has been corrected, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Great car and a wonderful rental experience! The pickup was easy, the return process was simple, and everything went smoothly. The vehicle was reliable and comfortable, and we had no issues at all during our trip. We really enjoyed driving it and had a fantastic time. Highly recommended
