Car was ok and worked fine. The main issue came from the owner, who kept texting and emailing regarding returning the car clean. Since this was my first time renting through this platform, I thought it was mandatory based on the way this gentleman was insisting on this. Therefore, I followed their request, but after I realized that it is NOT mandatory to do so, I requested a refund for the $17 car wash and their reply was deflecting and did not even consider answering my request. Additionally, I found it quite unsettling that my iPhone kept identifying a GPS tracking tag on the car. According to Turo's policies, hosts are allowed to use GPS trackers, however they are required to notify the guest before the trip begins. In this case, I was never informed about any tracking device, which is a direct violation of Turo's policy. Pretty bad first experience. I guess I will go ahead and use a normal rental car next time. BTW, the car lot is NOT by the airport, it is about 20 minutes away.
