Unfortunately, we had an anxiety-inducing experience. (1) the vehicle had a cockroach infestation. We would see a few in the morning, but in the evenings, they crawled out in groups. This caused us to lose travel at night which was very disappointing. Furthermore, our daughter’s asthma was triggered and worsened by this experience. She was left traumatized (2) the communication with the host was horrible. I messaged the host several times regarding the cockroaches, and never received a call from them. In one occasion, I was fortunate enough to reach them after multiple calls to them, but was met with no real solution. In the end, they charged me refueling fees after I explained there were no gas stations open in the dead of night when we had finally had enough and were returning the vehicle as advised by Turo. Just an absolute nightmare.

Booked a spontaneous trip to Maui for the first time as a family of 3 and this vehicle was the perfect choice for traveling with our 8 month old baby. There was plenty of space and the vehicle did well traveling up the road to Hana during wet conditions. The best part is that we felt safe the entire trip. Communication from the host was also a 10/10. Pick up and drop off from the airport couldn’t have been smoother. Thank you Lucky Joy !

The car was clean very accessible easy to get to. The hosts were excellent communicators responded immediately did excellent job and communicating. Vehicle held expectations and more. I would most definitely rent from them again when I come back for another visit thank you so much.

What a perfect SUV for Hawaii! We used to own one and boy did it bring back great memories! Grand Cherokee drove/rode very well and it’s a big plus that it’s a 4x4. We would definitely rent again!
