It was ok, however, when I landed in Maui airport I was not sure if it would be possible to walk to the spot to get the car or if I should call an uber…. It was late at night, based on the gps the place was not far but I didn’t know about side walks, etc…. So I texted the host but unfortunately he took more than an hour to reply and as a customer I feel the communication response could be better, mainly at night. Also the place to pickup the car was a little sketchy, mainly at night and nobody to help to find the car. I was glad I found it after a while.

Car was great host was very rude and tried to add additional clean duties on our behalf thought never stated on original rental requirements or Turo. He texted and messaged on Turo and via cell phone not allowing us to enjoy the rental. When letting him know we wouldn’t have time to add additional task he let me know I could go do it because washing the car is only $10 when again this wasn’t stated in the rental policies of the vehicle or via Turo a requirements.
The vehicle was not immaculate upon up pick with all high touch surfaces being covered in sunscreen from previous users. Water stains and other stain on the seats as well. Aleksei put a big emphasis on returning the car *CLEAN* but doesn’t give the car to guest fully cleaned.
Vehicle drove great and was good on gas but would steer away due to added responsibility that we were unaware of.
