Smooth pickup and dropoff, no problems with the car and communication was seamless. However, $24 needed to be paid for parking upon pickup. Also, this is an adventurer’s car (minor scuffs, bit of sunscreen stains, and some sand)
We are not a big rental company. As mentioned in the welcome messages. We use this when its not rented. Appreciate the business sorry we wasn’t up to par like the big rental companies. Welcome to serve u again.

Pros:
1) easy pick up at airport
2) communicated well during rental
3) was able to rent a car seat with rental
Cons:
1) Tires on car were low when we picked up and quite frankly were hardly road worthy with very limited tread and chunks of side wall missing on a couple of them
2) on day 2 of rental, Car stalled out and took several minutes to get restarted; notified owner and was passed off as being the automatic start/stop feature
3) Car stalled a 2nd time on day 6 and was unable to get it restarted; had to call road side assistance and it had to be towed. This was prior to the end of the rental period
4) unrelated to owner; Turo road side assistance and customer service is absolutely awful. They accused me of not following proper steps and calling police; the police showed up after we’d been sitting in the middle of the road for several minutes without hazards lights on (nothing on the car was operable). I had already called road side assistance and was in the middle of the call. Police called their tow company, which I had no control over. They showed up first and it was towed by them. After this, I never heard back from Turo about a replacement rental.
Due to this, I will be hesitant to use Turo again. I was able to give a partial refund after calling customer the following day when I had phone service again. I had to find another rental on my own, which may have been a blessing in disguise.
Doesn’t know turo. And did not call roadside first. Now faced with a bill that supposed to be his. Be aware hosts. This person passes out as if he is not at fault. He will mess u up. I do not recommend Joel. 👎👎👎
