Overall the car was there when we needed it and it was clean, although when we first picked it up there was an overwhelming orange oil smell that burned the eyes a bit. It has seen some things and has some stories to tell. It has had a door replaced and repainted to match and there are scuffs and a slight paint peel on the back panel. It also starts a little rough but we had no issues with it and it drove fine. The aftermarket wheels make it a bit loud inside but again, not a real issue, just an observation. Compared to the prices of many other rentals this vehicle was offered at a great value.
Our issue with more with confusions with the booking. We had sorted the vehicles on Turo to find one that had an infant seat listed in the description under additional features. So we thought that meant that it came included with it. We had chosen this listing for the price, but also with the idea that we would not need to carry our infant seat through the airport. Upon messaging closer to the rental date we were informed by the host that it is an extra $100 which was disappointing. Also, the way she communicated with us felt like she was conceited, pushy, aggressive, and not willing to listen to the concerns of the customer. I will give her some points that closer to the rental date she contacted us again and said that the infant seat was now available for us but by this point we had already changed our plans around to bringing our own car seat with us.
