Vehicle was rented at 1:00 a.m. and requested at 5:00 a.m. I have an automated message in which gives instructions for this type of last minute middle of night type of rentals. We do them but the message was not read and instructions were not followed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The Suburban smelled bad, like pot and other things that weren't pleasant. There was a large air fresher and at times the engine seemed to be stuttering. The inside was otherwise clean except for the steering wheel which was quite greasy from a recent trip to the shop I guess. We were able to accomplish what we needed, but wasn't what we would have expected from a nice rental car.
Thanks for your feedback. This was a last-minute booking with limited turnaround time, and the vehicle had just completed our standard cleaning and ozone treatment process. The ozone generator is used to disinfect and eliminate lingering odors, which can sometimes leave a temporary scent that may not be pleasant to everyone.
If at any point during your trip the vehicle didn’t meet expectations, we’re always happy to offer a swap to another available vehicle—just a quick message is all it takes.
