This was the worst rental experience ever. I was forced to switch cars 3 times a day before my trip. The original rate for my 3 day rental was $173. A day before my trip, I was told the car didn't pass some inspection and I had to choose another car, The list I was given was limited and the cost was additional $110. My first car was a 2025 Jeep Compass, the car I ended up with was an older Volkswagon Tsao. I feel this was a bait and switch. The return address was some obscure car wash miles from the DFW airport. They even screwed up the invoice dates. What a joke! I have to believe this was not a TURO problem as much as a bad peer to peer renter. Turo needs to address this immediately regardless.
