I’ve rented with this company before, usually an easy frictionless experience and well maintained cars. - not this one, sadly.
Both front USB-C ports did not work, which also prevented apple car-play from functioning on a trip where I had planned to be doing a lot of driving in new areas and needed the navigation. Ended up just riding with a friend most of the trip in part due to this.
The engine also had a very rough idle in this car that was shaking the cabin at any stop in pulses like if you kept releasing and slamming the brake.
There was also an issue getting out of the remote south lot where the plat wasn’t recognized and i couldn’t leave. I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to answer the Turo help call button at the exit gate, to finally get an answer and the gate open… only for the gate to immediately close and have to wait ANOTHER ten minutes for the call to be answered literally seconds after the first ended as whoever answered hung up as soon as they opened the gate. Frustrating start to the trip to say the least. This issue is out of the hosts control of course, but is an inevitable part of the experience.

Ac quality is a 10/10 great on gas, every spacious, has good Bluetooth. The charging adapters in the front did not work but the charger adapters in the back definitely work. Thanks for allowing me and my two children to use your suv. I definitely would recommend. Thanks again.

Car usb-c ports didn't work, complicated duplicate instructions via email and app. Email instructions on return told me to not enter a specific lot they directed me to for overflow parking. Now I'm being informed I will be charged for a late fee but was early. Charger because I didn't check out on the app flow(?) but I did because I submitted numerous photos on the app.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine

Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine
