My first Turo experience. Pickup seemed to be at the hardest place to find and the furthest spot from the only elevator in the parking garage. Some Instructions were also vague (I.e., you get a charged a fee if returning too early or too late, but not qualifying what that means). When asked about car seat details, I was told in texts that the car seat had instructions and I could look the car seat up on YouTube upon arrival - this felt very unhelpful considering I was with two little kids, a stroller, and luggage by myself in a parking lot. The rest of the experience went well.
Rachel was extremely difficult to deal with. During a 3-day trip, our team received 52 messages and 10 phone calls. She requested airport valet and curbside service at our expense, had specific car-seat demands, and had difficulty following the written instructions and YouTube guide we provided for our carseats. She returned late, did not refill the gas, and later filed a dispute because we would not follow her preferred arrangements. We will not host her again.

This is my second car from Nextride Auto. Their 5-star rating is well deserved. Last time, I focused on how great their communication is and how professional they are. That hasn’t changed. This time I won’t forget the vehicle. This car is in brand-new condition and rides great. I used it to drive to Zion National Park, and it rained quite a bit, but the Kia gripped the road well. Just enough room for four suitcases, backpacks, and a small cooler. It could easily go 480 miles on a full tank of gas in eco mode. I never felt the need to change the mode while driving, as I was focused on optimizing gas mileage. Great safety features. The only thing I would’ve enjoyed would be dynamic cruise control (automatic slowing down and speeding up). Love the choice of vehicles Nextauto provides. Will definitely go with them again the next time we take a road trip.
