Pick up and drop off were good and wonder went above and beyond driving us to the airport so we didn’t miss our flight. Only problem was a technical issue with the car that seemed to be a glitch. A beeping would go off sometimes that seemed like it was a no seatbelt on warning. Upon putting on all seatbelts and even buckling up seats not being used just in case this noise would sometimes still go off and sometimes repeatedly and was very irksome to deal with but when that wasn’t happening the car was an absolute delight and perfect for our bigger party.

I will have the seat belt sensors and rear-seat warning system inspected to make sure this does not happen again. Had a few Pros and Cons about this trip.
Pro: car didn’t run into any major issues and trip was overall successful.
Con:
After picking up the vehicle we had to pay to get it out of the lot which you don’t normally have to do with other car rental programs so it’s a bit weird.
Bit worried about the “Maintenance Due” notification when first taking the vehicle. It probably wasn’t reset or maybe the oil change wasn’t done but any issues that would have occurred as a result worried us for the few days.
Owner also messaged the night before that “not to eat in the car” and that and small crumbs should be cleaned. We didn’t eat however telling us that we have to pay for a professional detail for a “few crumbs” is crazy.
It should’ve been talked about as soon as the car was rented out not the last day before return so be cautious about this before booking.

Turos policy does not require you to do any of that, if your worried about the owner trying to get you to pay to take care of his car, read the policies so you don’t get tricked into paying for things that you don’t need to.
