Unfortunately, my experience with this rental was disappointing. Shortly after beginning my trip, I discovered that the vehicle had issues with a tire and rim that appeared to have pre-existing damage. I documented the vehicle’s condition with photos before driving and later experienced a flat tire without encountering any road hazard, such as a nail or other object.
The situation left me stranded and unable to use the vehicle for a significant portion of my rental. I had to leave the car overnight in a parking lot at the host’s direction, which caused inconvenience and disrupted my plans, including attending an important family event. I also had to seek clarification about reimbursement for the lost rental time and who would be responsible for the tire replacement.
Communication was responsive at times, but I was left with uncertainty regarding reimbursement and potential repair charges despite the documented pre-existing condition of the tire and rim.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this rental. I encourage future renters to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, document its condition with photos and videos before driving, and ensure any existing damage is acknowledged before starting their trip.
Thank you for your feedback. You picked up the car at 9AM after I inspected and safely drove it to the airport. You reported a flat tire at 11 PM, after 12+ hours of use. I immediately contacted Tesla Roadside Assistance, and the car was repaired by noon the next day. Tesla confirmed the tire was punctured by nails, not a pre-existing issue. I always prioritize safety and did everything I could to assist quickly and professionally. My priority has always been my guests’ safety and satisfaction.
