Smoke in the car. We thought it was a smoke free rental.
Yes it is supposed to be a smoke-free car. But a previous guest smoked in it and Turo refuses to hold that guest accountable and have them pay to have it professionally cleaned.

Car had a horrible smell of cannabis that was trying to be covered up by baby powder. I messaged host letting them know about the smell after getting the car and they said that they knew about the smell from the last renter but thought maybe it was better since that had some machine on it the last couple of days to combat the smell. When I picked it up it had been in the long term parking for 2 days, so that does not seem true. The car never should have been sent out. I would have preferred to have them cancel on me. I am not being dramatic when I say that it was hard being in the car. We avoided it and walked places instead.
When we offered to let you switch cars, you declined. And this only became a big issue for you after you received an invoice for additional charges from your trip.
