Sir, if you want to give advice go for it, but at least be honest when doing so. Look at your pre-trip photos and you can clearly see the side mirror is not "hanging off" when you recieved it.
As for the oil, what are you referring to? The oil level is good. Unless you think the car's message "service due in 1,900 miles" means it needs to be filled up. If that's the case, then allow us to break it down for you: In 1,900 miles it needs an oil change. Not now...
