SMOKER CAR! This is not a non-smoking car, as advertised. I needed a non-smoking car, specifically for my 13-month-old. She started coughing the minute we got into the car and after a couple of days her car seat and diaper bag smell like smoke. I texted the owner that it smelled like cigarette smoke and they said it was “coffee”. The brakes were very worn as well. One star for the good responsiveness of the owner.

I wasn’t satisfied with this rental. The brakes were bad as they made sounds the whole trip and the oil change and service light were on the dash as well. The host said he took the car to the dealership but I don’t believe that was true. Hopefully he gets the car maintenanced moving forward it could be a serious safety concern driving that car.
To clarify, the dash displayed an oil change reminder, not a low oil warning light. Since the trip the oil was changed and a multipoint inspection was completed by the dealership. A simple message could have been sent instead of a ‘low oil’ rating.Regarding the brakes, the vehicle was serviced before and after your rental, and the dealership confirmed there are no issues with the braking system. We take pride in our vehicles, hence the 4.99 rating prior to this inaccurate and misleading rating.

Last person rented didn't clean the inside but car got us to our destination and back. Pretty good on gas highway miles. Other than oil light slight shake at 65 probably just tire alignment overall good business. Host was easy to contact and helpful. From Houston to Dallas and back reliable transportation.
