I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the condition of the vehicle I received through Turo.
Upon taking possession of the vehicle, it was immediately evident that it had a very strong and persistent marijuana odor throughout the interior. This is completely unacceptable for a rental vehicle, particularly when traveling with my family, including two minor children.
The condition in which the vehicle was delivered falls significantly below the reasonable standards that any customer should expect. Beyond the discomfort, the intense odor created concerns regarding the cleanliness of the vehicle and the potential health impact on my family, especially after spending extended periods of time inside the car during our trip.
I contacted Customer Support shortly after discovering the issue, but unfortunately the response did not adequately address the seriousness of the situation or the inconvenience caused. As a customer, I paid for a vehicle that should have been clean, properly maintained, and ready for safe use. That service was not delivered as promised.
Given that the vehicle was not provided in an acceptable condition and that my family and I were forced to endure these circumstances during our rental period, I believe it is reasonable to request financial compensation in the form of a partial refund of the amount paid. The service I received did not meet the quality standards advertised by Turo, and I should not bear the full cost of a rental experience that was materially compromised from the outset.
I respectfully ask that Turo review this case and provide an appropriate reimbursement for the inconvenience, discomfort, and failure to deliver the service contracted. I would appreciate a prompt resolution and look forward to your response.
