had an issue with one of the tires that cost me a day of my vacation and led to extra expenses for a hotel and other things; however, Randy handled the situation well and was very helpful in resolving it. To be honest, it was a total disaster: the spare tire was useless, and the car jack wasn't the right one either. Afterward, the "check engine" light came on, and the SUV started vibrating once it hit 70 mph. When I told Randy what happened, his response was that he would have a mechanic check it out later. That made me think the vehicle wasn't in the best condition—and since I was traveling with my family, I really didn't like that response. It is his responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in good condition; please keep this in mind for the next customer.
Thank you for your response. The vehicle is at Toyota to diagnose the issues you mentioned. While I truelly apologize for any delay this may have caused you during your trip, I made every effort to fix the issue as quickly as possible and paid for the shop directly for the tire change. It is the responsibility of the guest to replace any tires damaged by the guest. The oil was changed early prior to your trip and the light was not reset causing it to flash mid trip. No check engine was noted.
