The car was reasonably priced, and overall, the trip went well with no issues. Communication with the host was good, and they always responded in a timely manner. Pick-up and drop-off were also easy and convenient.
My only concerns were that the maintenance light was on and one of the tire valve caps was broken, which made me worry that something might happen during the trip. The car also had a slight smoke smell, although the air freshener helped. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and we had no problems.
I’m giving four stars mainly because of the smoke smell and the maintenance concerns. I understand that it can be difficult to control whether renters follow the no-smoking rules, but I do think the vehicle should be checked and maintained a little better, especially when being rented out.
Overall, we had a good experience, and I appreciated the host’s communication and the easy pick-up and drop-off process.
