Great car . Nice easy pick up and drop off

This vehicle was straight.
Pros: easy pick up and drop off
Full tank of gas
Cons: started smoking from an oil leak, needs valve cover replacement
Smelled strongly like covered up cigarette smoke, will need an ozone treatment
Wheels need balancing bc the car starts shaking when going 50 and being able to drive the freeways of Houston, it’s a must.
They were very understanding about having to change flight to an earlier time and allowing us to return earlier than expected.
Would rent again if needed to in Houston and once issues were resolved.

The vehicle was not roadworthy, and when it happened, the host was completely unreachable. No response until I filed an official complaint through Turo — and even then, their first reaction was to blame me for their car breaking down.
If you are considering booking with this host, know that you are taking a real safety risk. Being stranded on a highway with no support from the person responsible for the vehicle is not a minor inconvenience.
The only bright spot in this entire experience was Sandra from Turo support, who stepped in, handled the situation professionally, and made sure I was taken care of. She deserves recognition for that.0 stars if it were an option.
