The car was clean, and the A/C worked well, but overall I wasn't satisfied with my experience. The vehicle had several issues that made me uncomfortable driving it. The steering wheel shook during acceleration, there was a ticking noise coming from underneath the glove compartment, and the brakes made a noticeable squeaking sound when slowing down. The car also had an older smell inside.

Communication during pickup could have been much better. My reservation started at 4:00 PM, but I had to call and text the host multiple times before the vehicle was finally unlocked a few minutes later. The delay itself wasn't the biggest issue—it was the lack of communication.

Because I wasn't comfortable with the condition of the vehicle, I decided to end my trip early and return it sooner than planned. Afterward, I was surprised to learn that shortening the trip also reduced my included mileage, resulting in an unexpected additional mileage charge. I wasn't aware that would happen, so it was disappointing on top of the other issues I experienced.
I appreciate the opportunity to rent the vehicle, but I hope the mechanical concerns are addressed and communication with future renters improves.

This vehicle was straight.
Pros: easy pick up and drop off
Full tank of gas
Cons: started smoking from an oil leak, needs valve cover replacement
Smelled strongly like covered up cigarette smoke, will need an ozone treatment
Wheels need balancing bc the car starts shaking when going 50 and being able to drive the freeways of Houston, it’s a must.

They were very understanding about having to change flight to an earlier time and allowing us to return earlier than expected.

Would rent again if needed to in Houston and once issues were resolved.
