The car drove fine. The only thing it had dirty seats and it smelled really bad I had to get so many air fresheners to get the smell out And then the key fob died the first 1hr I had the vehicle. It was just inconvenient. I went out of town with the car. It drove perfectly fine. It was an easy check-in and check out. This was my first time using Turo and the host.

Car was dirty and had problems starting at times

From arrival, the trip experience felt a bit disorganized. We had to wait for instructions on how to receive the key, and unlike most Turo trips where the key is left in a lockbox or designated location inside the vehicle, we ended up waiting around 30 minutes before a staff member brought the key to us.
Unfortunately, the vehicle also was not cleaned properly. The interior, exterior, windows, and windshield were noticeably dirty and smudged to the point where we asked staff to clean the windshield so visibility would be safer.
There were also leftover personal items still inside the vehicle that appeared to have been missed during the cleaning process. In addition, we encountered insects in the car, including two separate spider sightings, one of which nearly caused an accident while driving.
As for the vehicle performance, the ride felt rough throughout the trip with excessive shaking and noises that made it feel more like a roller coaster than a smooth drive.
Overall, the vehicle did get us from point A to point B, and we appreciate having the opportunity to use it, but the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition left a lot to be desired.
