This was a nightmare experience. The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander is infested with cockroaches. I found one crawling in the center console immediately at pickup and uploaded photo evidence to the Trip Photos right away.
Earlier today as of Wednesday, March 4, 2026, my daughter refused to even get in the car because she saw another roach on the back seat, forcing me to call my son to come pick her up.
When I confronted the host, they were incredibly dismissive, acting as if the roach just appeared out of the blue because they never had issues before.
While they eventually suggested I drive the car back, I was already far away and shouldn't be expected to waste my time and gas returning an infested vehicle that clearly wasn't cleaned properly.
This is a major health and hygiene violation. I am pursuing a full refund with Turo. Do not rent this car unless you want pests hitchhiking into your home.
I am very sorry that I have to charge you for refuling the car after your trip! As I told you please return my car with full gas to avoid extra 10$ fee for the refuling! Have a wonderful weekend!
