The vehicle was received dirty and not with a full tank of gas, which is not the standard condition I typically experience when renting a vehicle. I contacted the host to address the issue, but a reasonable solution was not offered. I was asked to personally detail a large SUV at a self-service car wash, which was not practical. I suggested using my detailing service; however, the host refused to cover the cost.
This was my first time needing to contact Turo customer support, and I must say the representative was very polite, professional, and helpful. They acknowledged the inconvenience and approved payment for the detailing service. While I appreciate Turo’s assistance, I hope I do not have to rent from this host again.
The vehicle was delivered clean, as shown in the Turo pre-trip photos. We offered multiple reasonable solutions, including arranging and paying for local detailers, and also consulted Turo, who advised returning the vehicle if you were dissatisfied. You chose to proceed independently without approval and an over priced Detailer
