The Tesla was great. Definitely better than renting since you get the full Tesla experience with Full self drive, summon, and long range. No need to keep up with huge rental key fob as you can simply use your phone. Jeff was great and made my first Turo rental hassle free.

Sadly, the car had a high voltage battery warning shortly after I got it. The host was incredibly helpful and took care of me by helping me find another car, or he was planning to bring the car back after it was fixed, but it would have taken too long. So, we decided to cancel our trip.

The car itself was very nice and drove great, but unfortunately there were several issues with the experience.
First, the host arrived late. I was scheduled to receive the car at 11:30, and my flight landed at noon, but he wasn’t even at the airport when I arrived. After picking up my luggage from baggage claim, he still wasn’t there. I went outside and waited by the curb for nearly 15 minutes in the freezing Indiana cold. In total, the host was well over an hour late.
When the car was finally delivered, the exterior was extremely dirty. My daughter even mentioned that she and her husband were trying to figure out which car I rented, but all the cars in the parking lot where we met were so dirty that she assumed I hadn’t arrived yet.
The most frustrating issue was that I was pulled over because the vehicle had expired tags, which was very embarrassing.
Overall, the car itself was great, but the experience was very disappointing.
I’m very sorry for the late pick up. I had a meeting scheduled too close to your delivery time.
Additionally, I was aware the car needed another wash. I had been to the car wash just the prior day and the salt on the roads accumulated over the previous day. I stopped at the car wash just before coming to pick you up and the line was way too long, so I left. So, I apologize about the dirty exterior and being late.
I have no excuse for the expired tags. I’m sorry for the embarrassment.
