The 2026 Volvo was beautiful, in pristine condition, and a pleasure to drive. Unfortunately, the pickup experience was far below Turo’s usual standards. Despite clearly stating I arrived at Terminal 2, I was never informed the vehicle was parked at Terminal 1, on the opposite side of the airport. When seeking clarification, I was told I was confused rather than offered assistance. What followed was over an hour spent navigating airport traffic, construction, and a 35-minute walk with luggage late in the evening. The issue was never my ability to locate the car, but the lack of accurate communication and customer care. Having rented through Turo many times, this was a first. No acknowledgment or compensation for the lost time has been offered. The vehicle deserves five stars; the pickup experience does not. Ultimately, a customer’s time is their most valuable asset, and unlike a missed turn, an hour of one’s life cannot be recovered.

Sharing your arrival terminal doesn’t guarantee delivery there. Unlike large rental corporations, Turo hosts personally care for their vehicles and strive to provide exceptional service. We respect everyone’s time, but understanding how a service works before assigning blame is equally important. Clear expectations and mutual respect go both ways.
