The Turo app was very easy to use, and the host was wonderful throughout the entire process. They responded in a timely manner, were very understanding, and even allowed me to extend my drop-off time by a couple of hours, which I truly appreciated. The no-contact key pickup/drop-off process was also very convenient and made everything quick and easy.

The SUV was very nice inside and out and was extremely clean overall, aside from some caked-on dog hair on the back passenger doors, along the bottom of the windows, which I’m assuming was left by previous renters.

My only complaint would be the radio reception. No matter what station I tried, it was mostly static. So, if you’re unable to connect your device through Bluetooth, you’ll probably be driving in silence or listening to static. On the bright side, I guess no radio gives everyone a chance to actually interact and have conversations during the ride.

Overall, I had a great experience, and I’m still giving it 5 stars since the vehicle does have the capability to connect a device through Bluetooth to combat the static radio issue.

Side note to potential renters: Please be aware there is a dent on the front passenger-side door so you can document it beforehand and avoid any possible confusion later.

Everything started off smoothly, and I initially had a positive experience. Communication was clear, and things seemed to be going well.

However, things took a turn when issues began to arise, and unfortunately, they weren’t handled as effectively as I had hoped. The situation became frustrating, and the resolution process did not feel as smooth or supportive as it should have been.

I also want to emphasize that this review reflects the entire timeline of the rental—not just the last couple of days when the incident occurred. While the issue toward the end was significant, it’s important to consider the full experience from start to finish. Hence I chose disappointing.

One important takeaway from this experience is the value of going through proper Turo channels for any changes, extensions, or issue resolution—even if it may seem more expensive upfront. It provides transparency, protection, and ensures that everything is documented, which helps avoid misunderstandings or feeling pressured or manipulated.

I believe there is potential for a great experience, but consistency, transparency, and better handling of problems when they come up would make a big difference.

The battery died when you had the car for over 2 weeks. The mechanic said you must have accidentally not closed the door all the way or left a light on. The car worked perfectly after they recharged it.

Sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately there isn't anything we could have done in this situation.
