I guess the oil wasn't checked and I had to cancel my trip because the engine was overheating as I was driving the sun and that ruined my plans. Things do happen, but it ducks I couldn't rely on the car.

Communication with the host was excellent, and the vehicle was very clean. Unfortunately, the car itself was not reliable enough for my trip. The A/C did not work, and the engine repeatedly ran hot, making it unsafe to continue driving.
As a result, I was unable to finish my trip. Roadside assistance had to tow the vehicle, leaving me stranded miles from home with my children. I ended up spending more money dealing with the situation than I did on the rental itself. Turo only covered $75 of the nearly $200 Uber ride I had to take to get my children and me back home.
I did receive a partial refund for the rental, which I appreciate. My advice to future renters is to make sure the vehicle is in good mechanical condition and suitable for the type of trip you’re planning. While the host’s communication was great, the condition of the vehicle unfortunately made this a very stressful experience.

The vehicle was returned with the AC blowing cold air so I will need to see why it did not work through your trip. As for the check engine light, we determined the turbo has low output which can reduce power. The vehicle is currently being worked on and off the platform until I complete a 200mile test drive.
