The process was easy and simple. Full gas tank, only issue was that I had a hard time starting it several times with the push start and the screen was not visible for a little bit. Car was is in good condition and would definitely rent it again.

Host is unresponsive to Turo. Thanks to Turo for helping me out of the terrible situation of renting this vehicle. I had to receive a substitution rental from Turo due to the check light engine coming on from this Volkswagon vehicle. The car struggles to turn on and off. The tire pressure signal also came on and when Turo attempted multiple time to contact the host he didn’t answer. The host is renting out a defective car and you shouldn’t rent it out from him.

After my mechanic inspected the car, we found the issue was simply that the fuel tank was completely empty. Once gas was added, all warnings and problems disappeared. The car became unusable due to improper use and not refueling, which could have been avoided.
I always maintain my vehicles carefully, and I’m committed to providing a reliable experience for all guests.
