Car was great, fun to drive

This was my first time using Turo. The host was friendly and helped answer all my questions. The car was good and ran smoothly. The biggest thing I did not like is that the car was not ready at the set pickup time—but that can happen with traditional car rental services too. But the issue for me was in part because I wasn’t notified that the car drop off was late. My flight landed after 8pm. As a woman traveling solo, I will probably not do an evening pickup time from a public airport garage in the future. When I walked out to find the vehicle for pickup, I was startled by a “crazy” man screaming at himself and other people. After wandering the garage for a few minutes and realizing the vehicle was not there, l hustled back inside because of the man (and any other crazies that might be around). The man did NOT approach me, but the experience made me a little nervous. Other than that, I had an overall good experience.

The overall condition of the vehicle is poor. Rides nice, but had a few interesting moments with the vehicle. The window control panel would unclip out of place continuously, impossible to drive in the rain because the windshield wipers would continuously hit the side of the frame. Couldn’t even properly wipe. Needs replacement wipers. List goes on. They were nice enough to provide 400 extra miles for providing me the vehicle with low mileage.
