Let me first say that I honestly had no intention of writing as review for this host, but I feel that others should be aware and not just trust the owners word on things. I have rented from Turo in the past and I find them extremely helpful and am thankful they assist in this situation. From the beginning of the booking Zach was messaging a lot, which seemed helpful, but once we picked up the car, his messaging EVERY day of our 4 day rental became bothersome and incessant. We had informed him on the first day that 2 warning lights were on the dash. He told us there was nothing to worry about and it was a bad sensor. Uh OK. The evening of the first day(we picked up in morning) my husband noticed the brakes on the drivers side were clicking. I made a note to mention. We had heavy rain most of our rental period and we noticed there was an issue with the passenger side wiper blade. Another note. At the end of the second day a large chuck of rusted metal came off the back drivers side by the rear tire. Luckily we were in our driveway and not on the highway. If it had cut into the tire at high speed, who knows what could have happened, especially in the rain. It was a mad dash for us getting the car back on time with me working a 12 hour event but upon returning, I made sure to not only return the piece that broke off, but to go over all the issues we found. First he said we couldn't have possibly had any of the problems because he's mechanic said the car was fine. Then he said the piece must have come off the oil pan liner, which is common. Ok, as a former Jeep owner, no thats not common and 2, the oil pan isn't in the rear, so came across as both an excuse and a lie. The messaging went back and forth and he actually said I was lucky he didn't charge me a fee for parking in the wrong space, even though their was a empty car blocking all his spaces, it was pouring rain and i was late for work. He even threated to get me banned from Turo, which seemed highly uncalled for. The whole experience was super stressful and I am only grateful that Turo was so helpful in rectifying the situation. To the next person, just know, if there are warning on the dash, the owners can't charge fees. That is their policy. Save yourself the headache and constant messaging while you're renting to take care of your life and rent with anyone other than Zach. Happy Driving

I never threatened to have you banned. That's not my decision. I did let you know that I didn't charge you for all the issues with your trip including: not refilling the vehicle, extra mileage and incorrectly returning the vehicle.
You were very rude when I sent your invoice. I'm glad Turo helped.

I’ve rented with Zach multiple times, primarily for business, but also for leisure and I have nothing but good things to say! Cars are always clean, well-maintained and modernized. Drop-off/pick-up is contact-free which allows cars to be returned or taken at virtually anytime of day that meets your schedule needs.
