The car was not at the agreed-upon pickup location, so I had to find someone at the last minute to drive me to a different location to pick it up. The host began calling me at 7am to tell me when pick up time was 10am. So my time to sleep in was ruined before the trip.

When I arrived, I discovered a large spiderweb-style crack in the windshield on the passenger side, about the size of a grown man's hand. I would have appreciated knowing about this beforehand, as I considered it a significant safety concern. I was told it had just happened and they hadn't had a chance to repair it. Not knowing that was there was a problem because I was not trying to get blamed for it or the rip in the drivers seat. These should be posted in updated photos of the rental on the page.

Two days before our trip ended, we requested to extend the rental for a few more days because we are visiting a family member who is in hospice while trying to have a small vacation with our other loved ones and we wanted more time with them. Our request was denied because the host said the vehicle was already booked. However, I noticed in previous reviews that reservations had been canceled to accommodate other renters, which made the situation even more disappointing.

As a result, my husband and I had to drive six hours straight so he could drop off his car and pick me up after I returned the rental. My car is getting old so that’s why we got a rental in the first place.

Overall, communication from the host was poor, and the experience was frustrating. I would not rent from this host again. The only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that the car itself was clean and drove well.

Communication was minimal. I paid for 2 child car seats and received 1 infant seat and 1 booster seat. I asked for a refund for the booster seat but did not get any answer. Also, the parking garage ticket was not in the vehicle so, I had to spend extra time figuring out how to exit the parking garage. The car was nice for my needs.

Good vehicle, convenient pickup , easy instructions, friendly host. I had dealt with a major inconvenience with the rental during the trip while needing an extension for a day but the car was rented out the day after me and wish I could’ve had a bit more communication. But to be fair it was later at night and it all worked out.
