Pickup and drop-off were both smooth, and I appreciated that part of the experience. However, there were a few issues that made the rental less positive overall.
During the trip, I unfortunately lost my phone and needed to extend the rental while I handled the situation. I understand that this was my responsibility and not the host’s fault. However, I found some of the communication during that time to be unnecessarily matter-of-fact and, at times, condescending rather than helpful. I wasn’t expecting the host to solve the problem for me, but better customer service and a little more understanding would have made an already stressful situation easier to navigate.
I also had concerns about the vehicle itself. During the drive, particularly when going into gear and traveling through mountainous areas on the way to and from Las Vegas, the vehicle felt as though it was slipping or hesitating. I’m not a mechanic, so I can’t say whether this was an engine, transmission, or other mechanical issue, but it was noticeable enough that I believe the vehicle should be inspected.
Overall, the pickup and return process were easy, but I think the vehicle could use a mechanical check and the host’s communication/customer-service approach could be improved.

You had no intentions of returning the vehicle on time. You were still a 6 hour drive away 2 hours past your scheduled return time which caused another guest’s trip to be cancelled due to your carelessness. This vehicle has no mechanical issues, as you stated you’re not a mechanic. This is a bogus retaliatory review
This vehicle is amazing got me from point a to point b. The ac is really cold and low cost on gas. I would rent this out again in the future. Thank you
