I had a very disappointing and honestly unsafe experience with this rental.
Within 10 minutes of picking up the car, I noticed the brakes were not responding properly and did not stop the vehicle in a timely manner. On top of that, every time I put the car in reverse, it made a loud clicking noise that immediately concerned me.
I messaged the host right away explaining the exact issues, and instead of addressing the safety concerns, they asked me what the issue was even though I had already explained it clearly. After that, I was left on read multiple times and eventually told they had a “24-hour SLA” to respond. I’ve used Turo before and have never had a host respond this way to a potential safety issue.
I felt extremely uncomfortable driving the vehicle and ended up driving it less than 10 miles total for the entire trip. I had to rely on Uber for the rest of the week because I did not feel safe using the car.
I would not rent this vehicle again and would strongly recommend the host address these mechanical and communication issues before renting it to anyone else.

Rental was quick and seamless. Only discrepancy was parking garage payment. Was refunded four dollars from a $39 parking expense.. Car was dropped off far earlier than reservation time costing in additional fees.
