DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS HOST! I Paid $488 for a week rental of which the car was not road worthy from the time of pickup at Ft Walton/Destin airport. Had to stop numerous times to attempt to shut the trunk which started the trip with a rear hatch open warning and it never went away. The car also stopped on me on the highway and had multiple warning lights from the beginning. The host was slow to respond to messages (2 days later) and very rude. Offered to give me a refund and he would come to pick up the car. So for 2 days rental I was charged $300. AGAIN, BE WARNED! All previous hosts I have dealt with in the past 5 years were excellent. This host shows a 5 star rating. Apparently his family has been posting reviews because there is absolutely NOTHING 5 STAR ABOUT THIS HOST!

I apologize you were not satisfied with your experience. This car has rented over 100x. This is our 1st negative review so we take your criticism seriously. I offered to pickup the vehicle once you said it didn’t meet your expectations. I got the car, closed the trunk and the light went away. Your safety is our top priority and any issues will be thoroughly investigated. Despite the negativity I will still look into a refund but had to wait for the trip to end. Thank you for your time.
