I am leaving this review to share my experience with this host, which was unfortunately not a positive one.
During my interaction, the host repeatedly attempted to persuade me to conduct business outside of the Turo platform, offering a lower price if I agreed. I made it clear that I was not comfortable with this and preferred to continue through Turo for safety and transparency. Despite this, the host continued to ask multiple times, which made the situation feel unprofessional and uncomfortable. I then told him I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go this route, and he msgd be continuously until I agreed. Requesting that I send him a deposit through Venmo,
On the last day of having the vehicle, he then sent me a msg threatening, that he would report me to the police and to Turo for driving fast, he said he knew that I wasn’t the only person driving, and that I was “abusing the vehicle.”
In fact his car was returned safely, clean, with extra gas, and in the exact condition.
Additionally, after my trip, I reached out regarding a personal item (a watch) that was left in the vehicle and his apple tag that was left behind with me. Although the host initially acknowledged my message, I did not receive any follow-up communication.
The threats he made towards me was invalid, coming from a person who hustled me into extending my rental dates longer and requested $250 extra dollars outside of Turo. After the threats I did research and realized he was one who should’ve been reported. He failed to follow the rules and restrictions of Turo’s Term of Service, fee avoidance.
Overall, I did not feel confident in the professionalism or customer service provided. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking with this host

This individual is fabricating a false narrative of what actually happened. It's sad to see this and I only pray this individual gets some mental health treatment. I have over 100 reviews all 5 star but this one. I would. It let this customer rent a car from anyone.
