Great host and an excellent experience! The 2017 Suburban was phenomenal—very clean, comfortable, and incredibly roomy. It had plenty of space for passengers and luggage and made our trip much more enjoyable. The host was great to work with and made the entire rental process easy and smooth. I would absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend!

The trip started fine, but ran into several issues. There was a pre-existing tire sensor warning disclosed at handover, followed by a low engine oil/washer fluid warning that required an unplanned mechanic visit and caused delays. Later, the host told me the vehicle could run on E85 fuel; after filling up as instructed, the check engine light came on.
When I raised safety concerns, the host pushed back rather than working with me - suggesting I could be charged for using roadside assistance, then cancelling the roadside assistance I had requested through Turo without consulting me, and arranging his own recovery instead. He also asked me not to leave a review in exchange for not leaving one about me.
I'd recommend Turo and hosts prioritize vehicle maintenance checks between trips, and handle roadside/safety concerns through official channels rather than informal pressure on the guest.

One of the most dishonest guests I’ve encountered in my time as a host. He put E85 fuel in the vehicle, causing the check-engine light to come on. My mechanic inspected it and confirmed the vehicle was fine and the light would clear after the drive cycle. The guest asked if I had other E85 vehicles because it was cheaper. Despite the vehicle driving normally, he called Roadside to tow it. I even did him a favor by picking it up. Never rent to this guy because he will find ways to screw the host
This was my first time booking through Turo and I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience! The host was great…the rental was nice, clean, and exactly what I needed. I had no complaints at all. I really appreciated how easy the whole experience was. I would highly recommend them!
