Clean vehicle and easy pick up. Issues with battery with start-stop activation system
Robyn •
No there are no issues with the battery or the vehicle. There are issues with the guests leaving the lights or ignition on.
The car got us where we needed to go, but there were several issues that significantly impacted our trip. The AC fan struggled to work during our entire rental, which made driving in the Florida heat very uncomfortable. During a thunderstorm, the driver’s windshield wiper barely cleared the windshield, making visibility poor. The dash cam repeatedly restarted itself, and the brakes squealed loudly. Besides the AC fan, we could have dealt with the other issues, yet it felt like they kept piling up.
We chose not to request a replacement because we didn’t want to lose valuable vacation time waiting for another vehicle. I hope these maintenance issues are addressed before the next renter.

Speeding is bad, Brian. Speeding while having all the issues you have listed is even worse. Thanks!
Some seatbelt light issues

The occupancy sensor on the front passenger seat in all volkswagens is extremely sensitive. If you place anything on that seat- a purse, a phone, an umbrella and the seat belt is not being used, a seat belt warning will pop up.
Easy to pick up and quick communication
