When we went to pick up the car the lock box section of the pick up instructions was empty. I texted and messaged the host through the Turo app and it took him a little bit to get back to me.
The brakes are extremely squeaky in this vehicle. The windshield wipers need to be replaced since one was halfway coming through on our trip.
The engine oil change light came on during the trip and when I checked when it should have been done based off the sticker on the windshield it should have been done prior to our trip.
I had to fill up the tires with air.
The car was shook on the highway, not sure if it the vehicle in general or the tires.
Overall would not recommend and would not rent again. I did not feel safe driving this vehicle with my children in the car.
On top of all these issues I got charged a $50 cleaning fee for a little bit of sand in the car, the car did not need anything else more than a vacuum which should be done between rentals regardless.
Hi Emma, thank you for the feedback but unfortunately you have some key issues in your recollection of events.
1. The app has automated pickup instructions (with pictures for you :)
2. I responded your missed call within 2minutes (I have that documented)
3. I have receipts of my car being fully serviced prior to your trip
4. you drove it for 800 miles & 2 weeks :) i think you felt safe
5. I charged a cleaning fee because of the stains, odors, food & health concerns (bl00dy tissues, oil marks
