This was my first time ever using Turo and I loved the communication. The car is beautiful just what I needed for a day. Check in was seamless as well as return process. Host was amazing the entire duration.

Great experience working with the host. Fast replies, and was able to accommodate an earlier pickup and earlier return. Would happily rent this vehicle again!

Late to drop off but was quick with communication
Angelica , how were we late for pickup when you changed your pickup time the day of , which was extended later to that day due to a flight change , which we accommodated . Your drop off time was also changed only a few hours in advanced in which we were at the airport before the guest . The pickup said he would get there at 7:22 PM, we got there at 7:23 PM no problem . Third party communication is never ideal , the gas was not refueled either .

I would give zero stars if I could never have I dealt with such back and forth and terrible customer service from a rental company. In one day of having the vehicle it broke down in the middle of the road in which we had to contact the host and roadside assistance. We contacted for a tow and they sent out someone to jumpstart the vehicle in which took over 2.5 hours later, with us already knowing the vehicle did not have a battery issue. We were at least able to move the vehicle to a safe place before the vehicle died on us again. We had to contact Turo roadside assistance multiple times to obtain a tow in which we had to sit out there in the cold with our family for 7 hours before tow arrived because Turo stated we were not able to leave the vehicle. Our day had now been wasted. Turo was unable to provide us with a replacement vehicle due to us not living in the area and not being able to return the vehicle. Turo’s customer service agent gave us the option to drive my family 10.5 hours back to our destination in an uber, bus, or train is completely ridiculous because at this point we were now stranded and had no transportation to get around but an uber, bus or train was the only option they could come up with for my entire family. A refund was requested due to our inconvenience and Turo is trying to give us less than half of the money that I paid. It’s insane the way that this situation was handled and I would never rent from this company again. The customer service was terrible and felt like they didn’t care about our well being and that all that mattered was keeping our money rather than trying to help. I hope one day they make changes because for this being my first and only experience renting from Turo I can never recommend them to anyone. In fact I can only tell people to avoid ever using them.
Nicholas, we’re truly sorry this happened. The 2023 Escalade was inspected weeks prior with no known issues. Once notified, we immediately contacted Turo roadside; towing, replacements, and refunds are handled solely by Turo. Your frustrations are beyond our control .We also received alerts showing speeds over 75 mph and are reviewing whether premium 93 fuel was used. Our vehicle remains 560+ miles away, and we share your frustrations as we have not received updates as well with the company .
