My wife & I have rented 20+ cars ftom Turo hosts in the past years with never an issue so we have always bragged on going through Turo.
Brothers Cars delivered me a car at the at the Loveland Airport with a nail in the left front tire. My flight got in late night and there are no lights in the remote parking lot so I did not discover until the next morning. I notified Brothers Cars (BC) & sent pictures but BC denied it was their fault saying they inspected, they were new tires which do not get nails, etc so I knew I was going to be throughly documenting every text on Turos app. I remembered BC took lots of pictures before delivery so I reviewed all and found they had taken at least 3 pictures showing the nail - pics # 153, 161 & 171. Wow - I thanked them for proving my case and brought it to their attention but they kept denying it was their fault. WOW - I 1st suggested I could take it to Discount Tire but they said if not repairable the repair was on me - new tire etc.. BC never said they would bring me a new car but told me to drive it bk 12+ mikes to the airport- they had no concern for safety only $$ & were telling me I kept bringing up the same issue & they were not responsible.
I kept asking them to look at their own pictures but they refused.
I elected to not drive the car 12 miles as suggested and gave BC the address to pick up. I had driven the car less than 25 miles- it took less than a gallon to fill up. I called Turo customer service - the first rep looked at the pictures and agreed he could see the nail in their photos!
BC only credited me with apprx a 1/3 refund so I called
Turo cust serv bk and got with a manager who also agreed she could see the nail & was filing a dispute on my behalf for a complete refund. By the next day the dispute was settled and I received a full refund .
Be careful and document everything to include pictures if renting from BC. But rest assured Turo customer service will look at the evidence and rule fairly.
I was disappointed in Brothers Cars but very pleased with Turo customer service.
First of all you didn’t get a full refund! You lied about that and you lied about everything!
Your book was till feb 18th and you shorten your trip till 16th so turo refunded from 16th till 18th and that happens to all the trips because you ended the trip but you used the car for two days and you paid for it we are not here to give a free rides!
You begged for a free ride tho! You told us you want to go to discount tire because nail stuck not inside the tire and we accepted but you didn’t go
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine
Keep the vehicle tidy
Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine
