While we appreciated renting Anthony’s Porsche Macan, there were several issues that made this not worth the money we spent to upgrade to a luxury vehicle. A few main points:
1. We arrived on time to pickup the car but it took us 15 minutes to reach anyone for the lockbox code. We ended up somehow connecting with Anthony’s dad (thank you to him!) and he got the code from Anthony. We did not receive a single reply from Anthony for the duration of our trip.
2. Speaking of lack of communication, I was alerted there was AirTag in the car that was triggered a few days into our trip, and once we found it, we asked Anthony if it was his. If he had said yes we would have left it as is. But since we never received a reply, we disposed of it. Lo and behold I am alerted of a second AirTag following us the next day. We again ask Anthony with repeated follow up if this is his, with no reply. We disposed of this one as well.
3. The electronics in the car are failing, the AC would go out for several minutes after starting the car, apple car play failed to connect several times, the parking assist would activate while driving down the highway, etc.
If you are wanting to splash out while in DFW, I would keep looking.
