Everything was a major problem. I arrive, inspect the vehicle, notice a chip in the windshield, and the left side view mirror does not move. I had to go let them know this so i would not be charged. I start up the car, and i am not even 1 mile down the road when an error light comes on and the car will not shift out of low gear. I immediately turn around and notify the owner within 10 minutes of leaving. The car was not road worthy. The owner drove himself said 'he never saw that before.' then informed me he had no other vehicles and that was that. I asled when i would get my refund? He said i had to call Turo. Fine, i leave and call Turo 15 min later about the refund. They inform me the owner has to let them know he has the car back. I meaaage the owner to tell Turo he has his car back. I call back to Turo, the agent hangs up on me and does not call me back. The next agent i call, apologizes and says he will process the refund, but not sure exactly how. Mind you, he works ib the refunds dept. After a long hold, he says the refund was processed. Ok. I realize a couple days later, i was only given a partial refund. Turo still owed me $100. I pull up my account, and the last person said i used the car for 4 hours and witheld $100 for that use. I drove the car a mile and returned it as it was not road worthy. 4th call to Turo, finally refund processed. The owner offered no help in calling Turo or even informing them he had his broken down car back so i could get my refund. Turo could not call the owner ro ask, they said i had to do it. My refund was messed up. My plans were ruined because i no longer had the rental. Terrible experience.

Andrew- I apologize for the car breaking down on you. Things happen with 10+ year old used cars. As far as me being unwilling to help you get a refund, as I stated to you when you were standing in my office, I am not able to control or issue any kind of refund. It is all done through Turo. I understand your frustration, but it sounds like the major part of your issue is with Turo itself. I would have gladly gotten you into another vehicle if I had one available on that day.
