My flight was delayed and I commuted with my host prior to the trip starting to let him know I would be delayed and picking up the car late. He told me 'no problem, the car will be ready for you'. I even checked in again before departing at 6am and received a message back confirming the car would be ready.
Originally was supposed to pick up at 12am. My flight arrived at 9am. No location or pickup instructions had been provided despite 2 confirmations from the host that it would be there and ready. Having now arrived I tried to reach out and get instructions with no responses. 2 hours later (now 11am) I was finally able to get someone at Turo to reach my host. The host finally called me and had a number of excuses but said he was on his way with the car. Couldn't give me an ETA. He finally showed up and delivered the car at 1230pm. 3.5 hours after my delayed flight had landed and 12.5 hours after my original trip was supposed to start.
This was supposed to be a quick 1 day business trip for me and I had to ultimately extend and change flights, book a longer hotel, and another car.
If you need reliable transposrtion rent from someone else. I rent turo's multiple times month with seamless pickup and dropoffs. I won't be using this host again.
