The car was great. I walked from my hotel to pick it up. The host was able to remotely open it up with the keys in it. I used the car for a couple of days but needed to return it early. Thats when things went south. After I returned the car, the host didn’t acknowledge it in the system and so it charged me full price. The host did confirm that I dropped off the car and should only be charged for the time I used it, but I had to spend lots of time on Turo’s chat trying to get the situation resolved. Too bad because it started very well and the hosts seem to be nice.

I'm glad you enjoyed the vehicle. I confirmed your early return promptly. However, hosts cannot change charges or issue refunds—Turo handles all billing directly. Like a rideshare driver, I provide the service while the platform manages payments. I'm sorry Turo's support took time, but I don't believe it's fair to rate a host for something outside the host's control.

Pickup and drop off was seamless. Host was super helpful and informative and also was very flexible. The car drove so smooth and is very well kept. I would definitely recommend them to any friends or family.
