This host was absolutely amazing! Very easy process, stay in constant communication and made it a point to call me 20 minutes after picking up the vehicle to make sure that the vehicle was clean to my satisfaction! Great customer service, I am impressed!

Car looked fine but wasn’t ready. Pickup was at IAD’s economy lot (shuttle required) — this was not mentioned in the listing, and a hassle with luggage and kids. Interior was filthy: dust, sand, glitter, sticky residue, and trash left inside, plus a lingering cigarette smell. Gas was under 1/3 full at pickup. When I reported it with photos, the host denied it was dirty and didn’t offer any fix until late the next day. We had no choice but to drive off in the dirty car and live with it overnight, then had to take a 45-min detour the next day to redeem his cleaning voucher. Mechanically it drove fine (tire/suspension warning lights on), and Apple CarPlay worked but needs a cable. Nice truck, but the host’s response to a legitimate issue and all of the hassles mentioned above made this not worth the savings vs. a traditional rental.

We respectfully disagree with several statements in this review. The fuel level was disclosed before the trip and our listing clearly states vehicles are returned at the same level received. The photos provided show only light dust consistent with normal use, not the conditions described. During our 45-minute phone call, we immediately offered a complimentary full detail at one of our flagship wash locations, which was completed the following day.
