absolutely amazing host and car, highly recommend

At first it was fine. I got a random message about a headlight but it went away and everything was fine. The next morning I got a warning regarding one of the headlights that never went away. A couple hours later, I got a warning regarding a break light. A person cut me off and I honked at them… this is when I realized the horn did not work. I was planning on extending this trip but that was no longer safe. It was also a risk because I could get pulled over. The host could not be bothered to act. While responsive, there was zero accountability. Couldn’t have someone bring me a new car so I had to get a different reservation. I understand that car things happen but this is not how customer service works. I did not plan to refuel as I intended to extend my trip and got a different car from the same host. They still have the audacity to charge me. I never got a proper apology, not that I needed it to live, but it’s always nice customer service expectations are met.
For the benefit of future guests: when Araceli reported the warnings, we responded immediately and offered assistance and alternatives. These options were declined, and the guest chose to continue using the vehicle for the remainder of the reservation. Safety is our priority and we act quickly whenever a concern is reported. Fuel charges follow Turo’s policy requiring the same fuel level at return.
