The car was very clean when we picked it up, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing.
Communication was limited throughout the rental. We asked for photos of the interior right after booking since there weren’t any in the listing, but we never received them. During our trip, we also messaged the host about the coolant temperature gauge repeatedly dropping, but we never got a response. The only messages that were answered were about the pickup and drop-off times.
The person who handed us the car wasn’t very helpful and couldn’t answer basic questions we had about the vehicle. The car also made several unusual noises during our trip, which, along with the coolant issue, made us concerned about its condition. On top of that, it was surprisingly expensive to fill up the gas tank.
While the car was very clean, we expected better communication and more support when we reported a potential issue with the vehicle.
