We had to change the car last minute but his communication was on point about the situation and he constantly kept checking in not much to complain about

The car drove well and got me where I needed to go. However, there was a slight odor and some pet hair, and it didn’t seem like the car had been thoroughly cleaned prior to pickup.
A few days into my trip, the check engine light came on, which made me uncomfortable while driving. When I contacted the host, I was told this can happen from time to time due to an aftermarket muffler.
I do feel this should have been disclosed upfront before the rental, as it would have impacted my expectations. Overall, the car drove okay, but the check engine light made me feel a bit uncomfortable, especially given my recent car issues.

John was absolutely amazing - happy to rent from you again any time! We felt extremely well taken care of, both during his personal check-in, and again when we returned the car. Exceptional service (both to customers and his cars)!!
