Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

Car was ok, pick up location was horrible, was not ever communicated that it was not at the airport until the night before when I checked in and when I communicated that I must pick up and drop off at the airport, I was notified that the pick up and drop off was posted as "East Syracuse", no address, no pin, just vaguely labeled. Turo was not willing to work out a solution so we had to Uber a $50 ride there and back. ($100 total). The owner now list it as 2 miles from the airport... if you can fly, it is actually 8 miles of driving. The horrible part is the overgrown parking lot at 4 am. Uber driver couldn't find the address, almost missed our flight, and we were concerned about getting mugged at the drop off location. Shame on Turo for not assisting us with our situation. I put in Syracuse Airport in the search 6 months ago when I booked and this vehicle popped up, and it was never disclosed at the time that it was not at the airport, just East Syracuse. I assumed since I searched the airport, it would originate and end there. I asked to at least let me return it to the airport since it was such an imposition and the owner told me it was illegal to do so. That was a lie...there are Turo pick up and drop offs there. Turo, nor the owner would help us with a solution, so.... we are done with Turo! Didn't have to be this way! It cost me hours of lost time and $100 extra just to shuttle to an abandoned, unlit parking lot. Very misleading and extremely inconvenient to say the least!

Good communication - interior of car was dirty as well as pickup location late at night as solo female traveler wasn’t in the safest part of town.
