When my reservation was confirmed, I asked if the host could do a drop off and pick up I was told yes with a fee. The host explained the fee. I agreed to it thinking it would be billed through Turo. Upon arrival, the host said I needed to Zelle the fee for drop off and pick up. I was not comfortable with this, so I returned the vehicle earlier than planned with host confirmation. Were I arrived he said him and his wife never got a Zelle, he then turned around saying I have damaged his vehicle. All of my photos from drop off show the exact damages he is referencing and my home security system also reflects the damages. Additionally my husband took a 3 minute walk around video that also shows the damaged he is claiming. I reported this to Turo who was able to go in and see the messages and photos and Turo has escalated this to have the host be spoken to due to “gray market”. Turo also claims they see he was out for additional money from the beginning of the conversation. Renters beware!!!

Excellent vehicle, a pleasure to drive. Communication was great. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend this vehicle for a long roadtrip with lots of passengers (comfortably seats 8).
