Car was dirty. No washer fluid. Had strong smell. And car is dinged up pretty good.

Jeep was very dirty and even after I attempted to wash it still did not come clean. The tabs were expired causing me to be pulled over by police. Tabs were expired in November of 2025

This Jeep was so much fun to ride. We pulled the doors and the roof off and had a blast. The overall condition of the jeep was great drove very smooth. Couple things that were frustrating. Was the communication on the front end trying to communicate pick up time and whether the trip was confirmed The host was slow to respond and wouldn’t answer certain questions. Also did not have the doors or roof pulled off prior to me arriving, which was OK no problem helping with that.
One complaint, however, would be got pulled over by the Eagan police due to expired tabs. My fault for not looking at the tabs beforehand however still pretty frustrating to have that experience While renting a vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone however I would try to find a different host to rent it from.

Great and reliable vehicle much appreciated

I gave this rental 2 stars because the car was not in the condition I expected. There was a strong, unpleasant odor, and the interior was visibly dirty. The exterior also did not appear to be cleaned before pickup.
Based on the listing photos, I expected a much better experience, so it was disappointing to arrive and see that the car did not seem prepared for a guest. While we eventually got used to the smell, I’ve rented cars before and have never received one in this condition.
I do want to mention that the host (or the person who handed off the car) was kind and polite, which I appreciated. However, given the price I paid, I expected the car to be clean and ready for use.
